Yep I was the only one watching (except for the owner who couldn't leave the premises). I took my flag to the QEII, laid it out on my corner table and invited every Australian supporter to join me. It may be homesickness, it may be my deep seated jingoism but here I am enjoying being an Aussie football fanatic despite never having been to more than one or two games (besides watching my son) in my life. I love the way the Australians play. They were the minnows but they played like a team who actually thought they could win. Sad but they may never get to sing their team song at the World Cup - ever.
