Marsaxlokk (marsa -shlock)
Marsaxlokk - a fishing village thirty minutes from Valetta has a Sunday market with lots of junk and lots of great fresh seafood. People travel from across Malta to Marsaxlokk for their weekly fresh seafood supplies. It retains its local charm despite a nearby container facility.
