Magpie 32 Some Days
some days are difficult
a tiny hole
separates present from future past
from present.
my dreams just don't fit
some days.
each grain of sand drops
individually
some days
my dreams are clusters
some days
the grains get
out of order
I try my best
but keeping them is line is near impossible
some days.
and it's such a long drop

I hope to realize my dreams some day soon, so that my future present meshes with my future imagined. But achieving that is near impossible I fear. But a girl deserves her dream time doesn't she?
Oh I know that 'some day' story!
It's always gonna happen 'some day'. But 'some day' to me equates to possibility and possibility equates to hope. Loved your Mapie Little Hat!
Oh, I do know what you mean. Lovely telling of some days.
"a tiny hole
separates present from future past
from present." beautiful!
Some days are just like that - indeed! :) I enjoyed this!!
"I try my best"...don't we all! This is a bit melancholy, yet very honest and real.
nice poem - very honest and a bit melancholic
Love this. Keeping them in line *is* darned near impossible isn't it?
...and some days there is no sand.
Some days you need to upend the hourglass to start again!
Great take on the image! When will we have time for our dreams?
Look out below! I love that line
"and it's such a long drop"
