These are the last photos from my old Panasonic LZ3 digital camera. I have a new Canon G12 which gives me a lot more control over shutter speed and aperture etc. Will my investment make any difference to my photos? Is it the camera or is it the photographer?
Steve Capelin is a writer, based in Brisbane Australia. His most recent publication, Paradiso A Novel, a work of historical fiction, tells the story of his Italian ancestors who arrived in Australia in 1881 after an ill-fated attempt to build a utopian colony in the jungles of New Guinea. This blog also contains stories about family, travel, quirky moments in life and refections on the world and its absurdities.

I love the composition of the last frame...but perlease! Could you not join the ranks of those helpful Bloggers who have remove Word Verification horrors? I'm not a robot - but one might be programmed to read better than I - it's taken me three goes to find something I can attempt to read, and it is SUCH a time wasting annoyance for busy commenters. Not having it enabled doesn't cause any problems, I assure you...
Jinksy,
can you explain what you are seeing or reading on my blog. I have no idea if i have it activiated or not. Tell me what to do and I'll do it.
I have been away a lot this month and missed these great shots - love the bride on the rocks (it is a bride right? Having second thoughts about everything?)
