At least half the time I use my phone's camera! And my "real" camera is most often set at "auto." I should play around with the manual settings more, but I've forgotten all the stuff I learned in photography class...Jenniferhttp://www.jensrealia.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2733654361980886883.post-65965598240316833762012-06-20T22:55:37.670+10:002012-06-20T22:55:37.670+10:00Loved the start here. just a little story re name...Loved the start here. just a little story re names.

A friend of ours in Cape Town - one Janni Labuschagne was the eldest son of the eldest son of the edest son ... all named Janni, his wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy ... she refused to call him Janni - they actually divorced and that was the major issue (although in truth I think that just explemified their incompatibility) wife number 2 also gave birth to a bouncing baby boy ... named Janni, 25 years later they are still married.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2733654361980886883.post-73291975729354857672012-06-20T21:58:49.997+10:002012-06-20T21:58:49.997+10:00Thanks Jenn. "Just write" I have written at the top of each of my note pages.

On another matter I am in the market for a camera. Did you do much research before you bought yours. what are you using and is it user friendly?

I get lost in the complications of too may options in many digital cameras. I'm looking at a Fuji X100 which has a dial to set shutter speed and a manual focus ring to set aperture. It also has a million other gizmos but I reckon once I have apertura and shutter set I can ignore much of the other white noise. Downside. Its expensive and has a fixed 35mm lens. Takes me back to the 70's and my Canon SLR.Steve Capelinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14838386764407644146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2733654361980886883.post-69248105426556707242012-06-20T21:26:10.561+10:002012-06-20T21:26:10.561+10:00Congratulations on starting! Keep writing. Let the voice come through; let the story unfold as it wants to. This is the first draft. Subsequent drafts are the time for crafting, not now.Jenniferhttp://www.jensrealia.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.com
